WHAT THE CLIENT ASKED FOR
Kristin Smedley needs a social media manager to build community around her feature film Curveball, using provided stories, videos, and baseball archive material.
Do you know a social media manager who loves telling stories and bringing people together around a mission? My client Kristin Smedley is developing Curveball, a feature film inspired by her family’s story. Her sons, Michael and Mitchell, are blind. Both wanted to play Little League baseball. People initially struggled to see how they could contribute. Michael went on to lead his team in RBIs. Mitchell was his team’s fastest base runner. Both became All-Stars, and both played on championship-winning teams. That’s the kind of story Kristin wants to share… what becomes possible when people see someone’s ability and make room for them to participate. She’s looking for a social media manager to help build the community around Curveball and the larger movement it represents. Kristin has stories, videos, and baseball archive material. She needs someone who can turn that material into engaging content and handle clips, hooks, captions, scheduling, publishing, and repurposing, with her approval before anything goes out. She has a modest budget, so finding someone who connects with the mission and can work within a manageable scope is important. If that sounds like you, comment below. If someone comes to mind, please recommend or tag them. Kristin will review the comments and connect directly with potential fits. You’re also welcome to reach out to her directly.
