WHAT THE CLIENT ASKED FOR
A creative director needs a designer to create social content for various clients, focusing on storytelling and capturing genuine moments.
There are certain things that still require real humans and real places to make them happen. They also need a designer’s eye. That instinct for spotting something, seeing its potential and knowing how to bring it all together. Social content is an area that’s growing in my workflow, and one that, as a creative, I’m relishing. Instant reach. Instant and measurable results. Having spent many years working in property marketing and placemaking, I’ve learnt that, however big or small the project, it’s about getting under the skin of a place, uncovering what makes it special and communicating that to an audience. Giving someone a sense of being there, without ever having visited. There’s also something really compelling about the art of video and its ability to tell a story visually. Whether it’s for a retail client, a property development or something else entirely, it’s about finding the story, capturing the right moments and creating something that connects with people. Getting out from behind the screen, meeting people, visiting places and capturing something genuine. Real footage, real places, making real connections with real audiences. Here’s a recent reel produced for a new retail client.
